Derek Returns
10-Mar-2011Derek has just returned from Confec Red, which this year was held at The Don Carlos Resort & Hotel in Marbella. It brought together some 50 UK agency personnel and around 60 suppliers from all over Europe. Suppliers included large international hotel groups, such as Inter-Continental and Starwood, plus independent hotels, Destination Management Companies, City Convention Bureaus and "Unusual Venues", such as Portaventura in Spain. Derek reports that he met with many new venues and has come back with enhanced knowledge and a slightly damaged liver!..
